Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of polyology.co and its product sites, and any software license you buy from Polyology. By using the sites or buying a license, you agree to these terms.

Website purpose

This site provides information about Polyology and its software products. Descriptions, availability, features, and release plans may change without notice.

Purchases

Polyology software licenses are sold through Stripe, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record for each purchase. Stripe processes your payment, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT that applies, and issues your receipt, and your payment is also subject to Stripe’s terms for buyers. Polyology provides the software, the license, and support. Prices are shown before checkout and are charged once; they are not subscriptions.

After payment, your license key appears on the confirmation page and is emailed to the address you entered at checkout. Keep it somewhere safe. If you lose it, contact us from the same email address and we will resend it.

Software license

When you buy a license, Polyology grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use that product for personal or commercial purposes on up to the number of computers stated for the product at purchase (three for CropTop). The license covers the version you buy and updates we release for it, unless we say otherwise when you buy.

You may not share, resell, or publish your license key, or circumvent license checks. You may not reverse engineer the software except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction. Polyology keeps all rights not expressly granted.

Activating the software sends your license key and an anonymous identifier for the computer to our license service, so we can enforce the computer limit. To move a license to a new computer, contact us.

Refunds

If you are not happy with a purchase, email contact@polyology.co within 30 days of buying it for a full refund. No reason is needed. Refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe. A refunded license is deactivated. Licenses tied to a chargeback or payment dispute are also deactivated.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, or use its content in a way that violates applicable law.

Intellectual property

The Polyology name, product names, site design, copy, graphics, software, and other original materials are owned by Polyology or used with permission. These terms do not grant permission to reproduce or commercially exploit them, except as allowed by a software license above.

Third-party services

The site may link to third-party services. Polyology does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

No warranties

The site and software are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polyology disclaims warranties regarding accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This does not affect the refund described above or any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polyology will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or software, and Polyology’s total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site and products evolve. Changes do not reduce the rights of a license you already bought. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
